CRICUT: Design Space iPhone app has been released

By now you might have seen posts over at Cricut Lovers Guide to Design Space from some very excited members who are using the just released Design Space iPhone app.

Yes, the app has now officially been launched!

If you haven't found it here's the link to download it from the App store.
https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cricut-design-space/id749471884?mt=8

If you're not in the US, Canada or UK you will have to create a US iTunes account to get the app.

Here's more info on that: http://www.thenoncraftycrafter.com/p/info-for-cricut-users-outside-us.html

You can now use the Design Space app on iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices.  If you already have the iPad app installed, make sure you update it because it now has new features! And work has started on an Android app too! (Check this post for more info: http://www.thenoncraftycrafter.com/2015/06/cricut-ipad-app-news-and-more.html

What's new in the app:

  • There's an in built camera option you can use to overlay your project images over a real life background. This helps visualise the finished project.

  • You can now use the Hide Contour feature to hide parts of an image

  • The basic shapes tool has been added so you can quickly add a score line or squares, circles, stars etc to your canvas.

  • There are also Bug fixes and performance improvements in this update.  If you have feedback for PC you can use the feedback option in the menu.

Now, you can design and cut with the Cricut Explore pretty much anywhere!

Happy crafting!
